尹 惠善

Hye-Sun (Melissa) Yoon is an assistant professor of Administrative Law at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. She holds professional legal qualifications in Canada (Solicitor & Barrister in Ontario) and in the US (Attorney at Law in New York). Her research interests include all areas of regulation law and policy, and risk governance. Currently her research focuses on regulatory issues and interactions among science & technology, risk and law in the areas of broadcasting and telecommunications, nuclear energy and waste management, and food safety.

Hye-Sun was a scientist and studied Biochemistry and Physiology before entering into the field of Law. She received a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, a M.Sc. in Physiology, and B.C.L. & LL.B. degrees from McGill University. She practiced IP Law in Ottawa shortly before moving to her home country, Korea. She earned a Ph. D. in Law from Seoul National University.
