Jing Wang

王 靜

Wang Jing is an Associate Professor of the Department of Law at the Chinese Academy of Governance (CAG, formerly the National School of Administration). She received her Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in administrative law from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and received her B.A. from Nankai University. Her main research interests include comparative administrative law, administrative litigation law, disputes resolution, land law, and food safety regulation. Her doctoral dissertation was published in the ALJs in the US and in over 20 papers on land dispute resolution, re-education through labor, and annul summary of administrative law research in China from 2007-2012.

Prof. Wang Jing has served as a visiting scholar at the Yale China Law Center from Nov. 2006 through April 2007. Since 2005, she has served as the editor of the CAG Journal and the Administration Reform Journal. She has served as the deputy director of the Administrative Law Research Center of CAG, as a member of the Experts Panel of Administrative Reconsideration of the Beijing Government and the Haidian District Government, as a member of the China Administrative Law Association, and as a member of the China Administrative Reform Association.

Besides her academic work, from 2003-2008, she served as the assistant for the China Administrative Law Association and served as a part-time volunteer at the Administrative Law Aid Center.
