Ananth Padmanabhan is a practising advocate of the Madras High Court, India. After graduating from India's top law school, the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, in 2007, Ananth has constantly and continuously been engaged with constitutional law, administrative law and intellectual property rights both as a practitioner of law as well as in his capacity as a law teacher and author. His first book, Intellectual Property Rights: Infringement and Remedies, has achieved recognition as a definitive work on the field in India. He has also published in reputed Indian journals such as Seminar. Ananth is a Dean's Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, where he shall be commencing the Masters Program in Law (Fall, 2013).
