Arun Thiruvengadam is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore and a Visiting Fellow at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in law from the National Law School, Bangalore and New York University School of Law. Between 1995-7, he served as a law clerk to Chief Justice A.M. Ahmadi at the Supreme Court of India, before practicing law in the areas of constitutional and commercial law in the High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court of India. His research and teaching interests, as well as his published works, are in the areas of comparative constitutional law and theory, Indian constitutional and administrative law, law and development, regulation and governance in the Global South, and legal education. He is currently working on a book project on the Constitution of India and its development in the six decades since independence. |
